TAKDAH VILLA

We stayed in this home stay from 1/10/22 to 4/10/2022. The home stay has awesome views of hills and specially the sunrise. The hospitality of owner Bhumika Mukhia and Pramod Singh was excellent. Food quality and taste is excellent. Overall it was nice experience.

Spent a lovely time with the Mukhia family (the owners), who are so warm and cordial. Very clean rooms with a wonderful view through the glass window.

Lovely homestay at Takdah Villa. Great view of the mountains from the huge glass windows both at day and night. Rooms are clean and hygiene is maintained. Icing on the cake is the generous hospitality by the hosts. Their home cooked meals are excellent. Would definitely visit again.

Enjoyed our stay at Takdah Villa. It was raining in August but Bhumikha and Tushar were very helpful. This is my second visit to Tukdah. First time I stayed in a heritage bungalow. This time I selected this new homestay. Will recommend Takdah Villa to others.

Enjoyed my stay at this home stay. Bhumika ji was very helpful in arranging everything. We stayed in the family room, very spacious. Fireplace was also in working condition. Special mention for driver Promod ji. He helped us with the pickup from NJP and also with the local sightseeing. Thank you all for this lovely stay at Takdah.

Nice homestay. Home cooked food. Great views. Toilets clean. Hot water geysers working. They also arranged special food without spices for my son.

Very nice ambience

In the last 40 years, I have been to lot of places as a tourist. But for the first time I found an extended family while traveling to Takdah Villa, Takdah. Wonderful hospitality, loveable people's, an elderly blessing and on the top of all is their behavior. Highly recommended for tourist who wants to visit off beat locations of North Bengal.

Had a pleasant stay in the family room of Takdah Villa..The hosts are very nice and cooperative..enjoyed the home made food.. Location of the room has it's own uniqueness..stunning view of the wide open mountain-valley, the sunrise, experiencing the dusk through the wide glassy window with a cup of coffee would be memorable..

Takdha Villa one of the nice home stay. Room size is big. Specially glass wall. We have seen beauty of hills from glass wall. Owner Bhumika is so pretty and very responsive. All our demand fulfills with smile. Food quality also good. I really forgot to say a dog (Bhuku) was so friendly, my son played with Bhuku entire day.

Me and my wife stayed between 29/Apr/23 - 01/May/23 In one word "It's a home away from home". Such a wonderful host family. Perfect place for relaxation. If we have to rate out of 10, our rating will be like this Room: 9/10. Specious, nice glass window, clean, fireplace, wifi. Food: 8.5/10. Simple and homely Nepalese food. If you like local cuisine you'll definitely fall in love with the food. But they have less option. Location: 9/10. It's on the hill top with an excellent view of the tista valley, very near to Takdah bazar. We'll definitely recommend this place.

We had an excellent stay at Takdah villa homestay. The homestay is very aesthetically made , very much neat and clean with all facilities of a good high end hotel. The best part is the beautiful scenic view of the valley through the glass wall from the room . Ms. Bhumika and her family took care of all our needs and made our stay very comfortable. Takdah villa homestay is highly recommended.
