Your villa at Takdah hilltop

Takdah Villa is perched on one of the highest points of Takdah and offers a fabulous panoramic view of the valleys, hills, mountains and meandering rivers from room. On a clear day, you can catch a glimpse of the Teesta Valley from your room. The best thing about staying in this villa homestay is enjoying the “bird’s eye view” of the rising sun through the glass wall of your room.

You can say that the Takdah Villa home stay rooms are “traditionally modern” with fireplace and all other modern amenities needed to make your stay comfortable.

Two sisters, a brother and an elderly father welcomes you to stay at Takdah Villa. We stay at the ground floor and look after you and manage the kitchen and dining room. My family prepares the food for all our guests and my father tells stories about the people, culture, forests and our Takdah. We would arrange for the evening barbecues, pine forest walks and even for cultural programs if you wish.

We generally serve Puri + Seasonal vegetable. If you want masala maggi / cornflakes + milk / bread butter – we can make arrangements.

Lunch and Dinner

We have arrangements for veg and non-veg items. With Rice and Tawa Roti we will serve several home cooked veg and non-veg items.

Coffee, Tea & Evening Snacks

Tea or coffee is available all day round. As evening snacks we can arrange for momo or pakoras. If you want to enjoy barbecue – that can also be arranged.

How to Book rooms?

Please use the enquiry form under the “CONTACT” link of this website. We will reply to your enquiry with availability and other terms and conditions. After we receive your confirmation email, we will send you Bank details for payment. You can also WhatsApp us for faster response.

Is car parking available?
Yes, there is a designated parking area near Takdah Villa.
Can Barbeque be arranged?
We can make arrangements for barbeque. After room booking, ask the caretaker. Barbecue arrangements are made locally on prior request only. Additional charges are applicable.

Yes, our caretaker can make arrangements for local sightseeing/ Pick-up/ Drop from NJP or Bagdogra. Charges for vehicle depend on the vehicle type and season. If you take your own vehicle, we will guide you about the directions.

We only serve home cooked food to our guests. Every morning we bring fresh vegetables and poultry from the local market and dish out simple and sumptuous food for you. We cook it fresh, serve it hot and garnish it with love.
